RCInsider.com arrives at the 2012 HRH Shootout!
Just after 7:00pm we arrived at Hot Rod Hobbies in Saugus, CA after practice ended last night. We were able to touch base with Jimmy Babcock and speak with him about the event… He informed us that they are at 263 entries with a few more probably signing up this morning… One noteable fact there will be no 4x (WC) Ryan Cavalieri in attendance for this weekends race… Ryan headed to Cancun for West Coast’s Danny Stojakovic’s Wedding! Our congrats goes out to Mariana and Danny may you both share a life time of happiness…
While we were at the track last night we happened to see Team Durango’s Hupo Honigl and Jorn Neumann while they were packing up. We were looking to see if they were going to be running the Team Durango DEST210R… They aren’t!
Finally we caught up with TLR’s Mike Truhe and Matt Chambers they gave us our first look at the TLR22SCT…
