Electric off-road racers with aspirations of being a national champion will want to mark their calendars for August 8th-11th. The race will be open for both stock and modified off-road racers. JConcepts New Radio Bags

JConcepts New Radio Bags

Picture 1

One of the single most expensive purchases in R/C is the purchase of the radio system chosen for competition.    In many instances, radios are abused during racing conditions and not properly stored when they are inactive.    Storage choices for radios are quite slim and once priced and evaluated some racers prefer not to have them simply because they do not travel very well in their luggage or typical race gear.

JC6

JConcepts introduces the radio bag designed with travel, cushion, ease of use and protection in mind.   The lightweight design consists of a rugged outer bag which has a convenient and easy access zipper closure and inside has a Velcro closure pouch for additional easy access items.    Inside, a high-density, form fitted foam, pre-cut for your radio of choice cushions all sides of your pricey possession while a lower stage foam insert cushions the bottom.   The bag is travel friendly and sized to fit inside most luggage or racing carrier bags.    JConcepts Striker logo and graphic imagery is printed on the outside for the most authentic look. Available for the M11X, M12, 4PK, DX3R Pro and MT4.

JC3

Protect in style, choose the form fitting, convenient radio bag by JConcepts.

Features:

  • Protective, inner foam liner specifically catered to each radio
  • Small footprint design, fits easily into luggage or carriers
  • Inner pocket with Velcro closure for easy access
  • Contoured, inner compartments for additional storage
  • High impact Striker print design and graphics
  • Zipper closure for security and quick access

Last weekend some of the Team Associated drivers were in San Diego, CA getting ready for the second Rnd of the JBRL Electric Series. We caught up with Nick Wautlet (aka) Wallnutz he was trying out a crude prototype camera mount for the Replay XD Camera that is part of Team Associated product line! The mount was placed on Nick’s SC10.2. Team Associated gave us a sneek peek of what they are trying out at this time. This is just a crude prototype nothing set in stone if it will be going to print!

Ryan Lutz wins Pro Buggy at 2013 Psycho Nitro Blast!

Ryan Lutz wins Pro Buggy at 2013 Psycho Nitro Blast!

Ryan Lutz filed this report from his most recent win this past weekend at the Psycho Nitro Blast… What a roller coaster of a weekend it was in Unadilla, Georgia, home of the 2013 PNB. This has always been one of my favorite races on my schedule and I always look forward to going back. I missed out last year as I visited the Alpha factory in Taiwan but this year I pushed that trip back to be sure I could attend the PNB. This race is just a one of a kind type event that you just have to try. What makes it so great I feel is the atmosphere and just the huge, intimidating, super rough track. The layouts generally start pretty mundane but give it a few hours of runtime on the track and the holes that develop swallow cars whole and some don’t come out! My favorite is generally the A-mains at the end of the weekend when the track is at it’s utmost extreme and it just takes a bit of creativity a patience to find lines that can keep you on 4 wheels and going fast. Here is how my roller coaster unfolded.

Tyler is on the JConcepts 50% team so we mounted his JConcepts Gold Barcodes and also from JConcepts we are using their AE Finisher Body for the time being…! Tyler painted it and put it together over the weekend! The Team Durango Stock Body is still with our painter! We ordered another body through EL Cajon Hobbies late last week!
